Quality assurance is the general phrase that refers to the controls performed through various tools in every step of the translation process. A complete QA approach incorporates all the required controls for all the steps. The QA approach and the relevant procedures are described in the ISO 17100 sector standard.
In order to get a consistent, accurate and appropriate content, properly fit for the culture you want to reach in all the required languages, your content needs to be checked individually by translators and editors with specific areas of expertise. In order to ensure this, the translated content goes through stages of control and editing.
